"Roddy" McDowall (1928-1998) was a popular English-born actor and photographer.

After appearing in several British films, McDowall's made his first well-known film appearance, at age 12 in HOW GREEN WAS MY VALLEY (1941).

He then co-starred in LASSIE COME HOME (1943) opposite lifelong friend Elizabeth Taylor.

McDowall continued his career successfully into adulthood, in character roles, notably in four of the PLANET OF THE APES movies (1968 – 1973) and in the subsequent 1974 TV series.

We are not sure when Roddy posed 'in the altogether' for this photo (Click to enlarge). But we like it.
