The title is taken from a painting by Clovis Trouille, itself a pun on "O quel cul t'as!" French for "What an ass you have!".
Sketches were written by such diverse talents as Samuel Beckett, John Lennon, Sam Shepard and Jules Feiffer.
The original cast featured TV's Bill Macy (MAUDE) and Leon Russom (Willis Frame on ANOTHER WORLD) . A revival opened on Broadway in 1976 and closed in 1989 after 5,959 performances.
